The Kindred Project´s vision is to inspire others to develop, extend and actively apply the knowledge, skills and values needed to secure a just and sustainable future in which all may fulfil their potential within our fast changing, interdependent global village.
The Kindred Project encourages every person to consider their global perspective and how their actions within the local environment affect people on a global level.Our work strives to create links with not only our own community but in addition national and international groups, sharing common approaches to local issues. We encourage our volunteers to consider global environmental issues also using both resources and materials from outside agencies.
The Kindred Project offers opportunities for volunteers to critically consider complex issues; explore, develop and express their own values and opinions, whilst also listening to, and respecting, other people’s points of view. We actively encourage people of all ages to make informed choices and to present sophisticated moral reasoning with growing maturity, independence and power.
We aim to develop perspectives which see the interrelationships between issues, and between peoples of all ages from diverse points of view.
